A step by step guide on how to add a beneficiary's entitlement
- Go to the People & beneficiaries section
- Click Add person or Add organisation
- If you choose that the person or organisation has a role of beneficiary, a section for Entitlement will appear
- This section is not mandatory and can be left blank
- If the user decides to enter information, they can choose to add either Residuary, Pecuniary or both
💁Only one Residuary type can be applied to all beneficiaries on a case
⭐If a Residuary type is selected and then a user attempts to select a different type for another beneficiary, an error message will appear
👌If a beneficiary is designated as the Sole residuary beneficiary, the residuary entitlement section will not be available for any other beneficiaries
- For Residuary, select the type
-
- If Percentage is chosen, the user can then add in the percentage value
- If Share is chosen, the user can then add in the share value
- If Equal is chosen, no further information is needed
- If Sole is chosen, no further information is needed
- For Pecuniary, add a value
- Click Save person
