How do I delete or archive a case?

If you have opened a case which you no longer need to work on and want to delete it, follow this guide

💁 Please note, if you wish to close the case because you've completed it rather than because you want to delete it, see here for the guide on how

If you no longer require a case, for example a client no longer wishes you to act on their behalf, you are able to archive the case so it no longer shows up in your workload. You can always unarchive a case if necessary.

  • When you open the case, navigate to the bottom left and click Archive case

  • In the window that pops up, click Archive case again

  • You'll immediately be taken back to the Your overview page showing your case dashboard
  • Back in Your overview or Company overview, you can see the Status of all cases and are able to filter in order to see All Cases, Open, Closed or Archived. Find out more about the search and filter functions for cases

  • To unarchive, open the case and from the bottom left hand menu click Unarchive case

👌 You can archive any case if you are a Company admin but if you are a Case owner, you can only archive cases you have created
