Please do not scan the QR code on the login page on Exizent via your phone's camera, this is to be scanned via the Google authenticator app, with instructions in the article links below.
Google authenticator installation
- Download the Google Authenticator app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the icon will look like this:
- Open the Google Authenticator app
- Click Get Started
- On the next screen select continue as XXXXX if you already have a Google account
- If you don't have a Google account select Use Authenticator without an account
Setting up MFA on your Exizent Account via QR code
- When you receive notification MFA has been enabled on your Exizent account, login to the Exizent platform
- After clicking Sign in you will see the pop up screen below to setup MFA on your account
- In the Google Authenticator app, click the + symbol
- Select OK to give access to your phone's camera
- On the Exizent MFA setup screen, scan the QR code using your Google authenticator app
- In the Google authenticator app, a MFA one-time code will be displayed on screen:
- Enter this code as requested on the MFA setup screen in the Exizent platform
- Go to the Exizent login screen
- Enter your username and password and an MFA pop up window will appear requesting a new one-time code from your authenticator app to sign into the platform
- Consult your authenticator app to obtain the code, enter in the Exizent platform and choose Continue to sign in
- Complete work on your cases in the Exizent platform as normal
💡 Note you can choose to tick the option to "Remember this device for 30 days" to prevent you having to generate a one-time MFA code every time you login to the platform
Setting up MFA on your Exizent Account via Manual code
- When you receive notification MFA has been enabled on your Exizent account, login to the Exizent platform
- After clicking Sign in you will see the pop up screen below to setup MFA on your account
- Click Trouble scanning? - a manual code will appear on screen for you to enter onto your Google authenticator app
- In the Google Authenticator app, click the + symbol and click on 'Enter a set up key'
- In the Account field, enter Exizent
In the Key field, enter the code displayed on the Exizent MFA setup screen then click Add
- In the Google authenticator app, a MFA one-time code will be displayed on screen
- Enter this code as requested on the MFA setup screen in the Exizent platform
- Go to the Exizent login screen
- Enter your username and password and an MFA pop up window will appear requesting a new one-time code from your authenticator app to sign into the platform
- Consult your authenticator app to obtain the code, enter in the Exizent platform and choose Continue to sign in
- Complete work on your cases in the Exizent platform as normal
💡 Note you can choose to tick the option to "Remember this device for 30 days" to prevent you having to generate a one-time MFA code every time you login to the platform
