How do I invite colleagues to the platform?

❗ To invite colleagues you need to be a Company admin. Understand more about permission levels here

Inviting your colleagues

Log in to the Exizent platform
Select the menu icon in the top right-hand corner, then select Team overview

On the Team overview page, click the Add colleague button

Enter the Email address, the Role you'd like them to have and the Address of their main office location. Find out more about what the different roles mean
To add multiple colleagues, click + Add additional colleague
Once you have added all colleagues, click Send invitation

❗Colleagues need an email address at the same domain as your company admin. You are unable to invite users with any other domain name.

Your colleague(s) will receive an invitation email called Join us on the Exizent platform

What your colleague needs to do

Open the invitation email and click the link
Choose a password to accept the invitation and create their account

Set up multi-factor authentication on their chosen authenticator app
Fill in their details and click Continue

👍Your colleague does not need to create a company or confirm their email address - accepting your invitation takes care of both, and they go straight to their dashboard.

Keeping track of your invitations

The Team overview page has two sections:

Pending invitations - everyone you have invited who has not set up their account yet, with the date their invitation runs out
Colleagues - everyone who has finished setting up, with their user type and status

You can search both sections at once using the Search colleagues box, and sort either section by clicking a column heading.

👍Colleagues stay under Pending invitations until they create their account, then they move into your Colleagues list.

Invitation Options

Every pending invitation has it's own options:

Copy Link

Click Copy link to copy that colleague's invitation link, so you can send it to them yourself. This is useful if the invitation email has not arrived.

Resend

Click Resend to send the invitation again.

❗Resending gives your colleague a brand new link and starts the 7 days again. The link they were sent before stops working, so please send them the new one.

Delete invitation

To withdraw an invitation, click the ⋮ icon on that row and choose Delete invitation.

The link you already sent stops working, and you can invite that colleague again whenever you like.

How long do invitations last?

Invitations last 7 days. You can see when each one runs out in the Expires column on the Team overview page.
If an invitation runs out before your colleague has used it, it stays on your list marked as Expired. Click Resend to send them a fresh one.

👍 On the Team overview page, your colleague(s) will show with a pending status until they create their account
