How to set up MFA on your Exizent account via manual code
Please do not scan the QR code on the login page on Exizent via your phone's camera, this is to be scanned via the Microsoft app, with instructions below.
Microsoft authenticator installation
- Download the Microsoft Authenticator app from either the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the icon will look like this:

- Login to the Exizent platform
- After clicking Sign in the next screen will show you your own QR code to scan:
- In the Microsoft Authenticator app, click Add account or the + sign on the top right
- Choose the option 'Other' on the next screen
- Select OK to give access to your phone's camera if asked
- Scan the QR code on the Exizent log in page using your Microsoft authenticator app:
- In your Microsoft authenticator app, an MFA one-time code will be displayed on screen
- Enter the six digit code from your app on the MFA setup screen in the Exizent platform then your set up is complete
💡 The one-time code in the authenticator app will reset every 30 seconds - there is a timer next to the code indicating how long you have left to enter the code until a new one is generated
- Go to the Exizent login screen
- Enter your username and password and an MFA pop up window will appear requesting a new one-time code from your authenticator app to sign into the platform
- Consult your authenticator app to obtain the code, enter in the Exizent platform and choose Continue to sign in
- Complete work on your cases in the Exizent platform as normal
💡 Note you can choose to tick the option to Remember this device for 30 days to prevent you having to generate a one-time MFA code every time you login to the platform
Setting up MFA on your Exizent Account via Manual code
- When you receive notification MFA has been enabled on your Exizent account, login to the Exizent platform
- After clicking Sign in you will see the pop up screen below to setup MFA on your account:
- Click Trouble scanning? - a manual code will appear on your login screen for you to enter into your Microsoft authenticator app
- In the Microsoft Authenticator app, click 'Add account' or the + sign on the top right
- Choose the option 'Other' on the next screen
- Select OK to give access to your phone's camera if asked
- Choose the option that says 'Or enter code manually'
- In the account name field, enter Exizent
In the secret key field, enter the long code displayed on the Exizent MFA setup screen
- Click Finish and a MFA one-time code will be displayed on your app screen
- Enter the six digit code from your app, as requested on the MFA setup screen in the Exizent platform and your set up will be complete

- Go to the Exizent login screen
