How do I add Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to my Exizent account?

Add an extra layer of security to your Exizent account with Multifactor Authentication

🔐 Our MFA functionality works with 3 popular authenticator apps:

 

To setup MFA:

  • Ensure you have registered your company on the Exizent platform and invited all relevant users. See Registration and Invite users for help with this
  • Contact our Customer Success team via phone, email or online chat to request MFA. When we receive your request, we'll setup MFA for all active users in your company
  • When MFA is enabled on your account, the next time you sign into your Exizent account you will be presented with a Secure Your Account screen with a QR code and a space to enter your one-time multifactor authentication code 

💁 To ensure the smoothest MFA setup on your Exizent account, we recommend users have their chosen authenticator app installed and setup with the same email address as their Exizent user account before scanning the QR code. The articles below provide some assistance setting up each of the supported authenticator apps if you need help:

  • You can complete MFA setup by scanning the QR code or choosing the Trouble scanning option to generate a manual code
  • When the one-time code for setup has been entered, you will receive a notification that MFA setup is complete on your user account
  • Navigate to the Exizent login page, enter your username and password and an MFA pop up window will appear requesting a new one time code from your authenticator app to sign into the platform
  • Consult your authenticator app to obtain the code, enter in the Exizent platform and choose Continue to sign in
  • Complete work on your cases in the Exizent platform as normal

💡 Note you can choose to tick the option to "Remember this device for 30 days" to prevent you having to generate a one-time MFA code every time you login to the platform
